How about reorganising your office to make it (even) more inspiring? After all, we spend a large part of our lives at work, so we might as well feel good there, right? Does this seem like a daunting task? Let's proceed in a methodical way.
1
COME ON, LET'S TIDY UP!
See that pile of papers gathering dust in the corner of your desk? Look it straight in the eye and ask yourself these questions: do I really need these documents? When and how often are they used? If you can't answer for sure, then THROW THEM AWAY. Also, a little clean-up of the many files on your computer might clear your head, just think about it.
A little tip to motivate you: start sorting the papers at the bottom of the pile, that should be easier. #verticalclassification ;-)
2
WE ORGANISE OUR BELONGINGS
Whether in an open space or in an individual office, organisation is the key to efficient and effective work. Much more than a piece of furniture, your workstation is there to support you in your daily tasks. But you still need to know how to optimise the layout. We're happy to give you some practical advice...
Within easy reach:
we only want to see our computer, keyboard, mouse, agenda, and small supplies. That's all!
Nearby:
daily papers and current files, today's mail, nothing more. Worth mentioning: these papers can be perfectly stored in stackable trays or sorting folders.
In the drawer unit:
supplies for occasional use, sensitive documents and personal belongings... Don't forget to lock it at night, if necessary.
On the library shelves :binders for invoices and recent files. Storage in height is ideal to save space in small rooms.
In the cupboard:suspension files, archive boxes, old files and invoices...
Around us:
we leave enough space, it's a question of safety! One must be able to move about unhindered.
On the computer:
electronic files are given the same priority and name as the binders. A time-saving habit.

WE PLAY WITH THE SETTINGS
Screen brightness and height, seat and armrest adjustment, desk height, lighting... Don't hesitate to take a few minutes to position yourself in front of your screen and make sure that all the ergonomic adjustments are appropriate. They are all too often forgotten, yet they are very effective in preventing fatigue.

AND WE PERSONALISE FOR MORE SERENITY!
Decoration is not just for your home: you are entitled to feel good - also - at work. A little trinket, a picture, a green plant, an inspirational quote... The idea is to create a nice working environment in which you will enjoy working. In addition, a cosy atmosphere soothes in case of stress.
We hope that these tips will help you to work in the best possible conditions. Now it's up to you to become a professional organiser!
