Amsterdam gesso helps you create the ideal base for your artwork on almost any surface. It will provide you with an absorbent surface after drying, making it the ideal base not only for acrylic paint but also for oil paint. The gesso can be diluted with water and applied in thin layers or in a thick layer to create more texture. This clear gesso can be used to create the perfect background for your work. Mix it with your favorite acrylic paint and the color will remain almost the same as in the tube, but with the added benefits of gesso.
