The Safescan 50 detector allows:

• to reveal the UV security features integrated in modern banknotes,
• to instantly show the UV security features integrated in credit cards, passports, and other identity documents,
• to reveal the UV ink used to protect valuable items from theft, or to confirm admission to an event.

The detector features a "hot start" technology that triples the usual lifespan of the lamp and reduces energy consumption, and is equipped with a reflector for extra powerful UV light quality.
It is compatible with all currencies, and checks both old and new euro banknotes.
