* Draw or trace an image on the Shrinky Dink sheet and color it with permanent markers. * Always use the markers on the smooth side of the sheet. * Cut out the image if you wish to use it as a keychain or jewelry, and punch a hole in it beforehand. * Ask an adult to place the image on a piece of aluminum foil in an oven preheated to 175°C. * With the heat, the image will curl up and then flatten out. * Remove it from the oven. * Allow it to cool by immediately placing it under a heavy object, such as a book, until it hardens. * The image is now 3 times smaller and 9 times thicker!
