Fully charge the toothbrush before first use. Attach a compatible Oral-B iO brush head to the handle and apply a small amount of toothpaste to the brush head.
Place the brush head against the teeth before turning the device on. Select one of the available brushing modes if necessary. The different programs allow you to adapt the cleaning to daily needs, sensitive teeth, or more intensive cleaning.
Slowly move the round brush head from one tooth to another following the natural shape of the dentition. It is not necessary to perform back-and-forth movements. Let the brush do the cleaning.
Brush your teeth for at least two minutes. The built-in timer signals every 30 seconds to change areas and ensure uniform cleaning of the entire mouth.
Apply only light pressure while brushing. The smart pressure sensor helps avoid excessive brushing and contributes to protecting the gums as well as the tooth enamel.
After use, thoroughly rinse the brush head under running water. Also clean the handle if necessary and allow the different components to dry before storing them.
For optimal oral hygiene, it is recommended to brush your teeth twice a day for two minutes. Replace the brush head approximately every three months or as soon as the bristles show signs of wear.
