The Totem 180 is a conference camera from the Ipevo brand.
A new type of video conferencing camera Right away, you notice the rather unusual look of the Ipevo Totem 180: it sits on a table and has two "eyes," each containing a camera. The combination of the two allows for a 180° view, which is perfect for a room with up to 8 people. And this comes with excellent image quality, as depending on the selected mode, the resolution can go up to 4640 x 1456 pixels, exceeding a 4K Ultra HD resolution.
Small room, medium room, the Totem 180 adapts Simply press the orange button for 3 seconds to switch from 180° mode - made possible by the combination of the two cameras - to 120° mode. Thus, depending on the selected viewing angle, it can cover either a medium room with up to 8 people, or a small room with fewer participants (up to 4). You can also adjust the viewing angle from -12 to +12° using the slider located between the two cameras.
Clear sound for all participants The Totem 180 also features two omnidirectional microphones equipped with active noise reduction technology. This ensures that each participant can be heard up to a maximum distance of 5 meters, with the reproduced sound being processed to eliminate or reduce unwanted noise.
Automatic and adaptive reframing via artificial intelligence You can activate the AI Stage function, allowing the camera to adjust the frame as needed, for example when someone leaves the room. This triggers a zoom to keep in view only the people present at the meeting.
Easy to set up and compatible with all video conferencing platforms The Totem 180 is very easy to use: simply plug it into a USB-C port on a PC, Mac, or Chromebook and launch any video conferencing application. Whether it's Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex... you will have no limitations. Additionally, you can secure this camera by attaching it to a security cable (not provided) using the designated slot and mount it on a tripod (not provided).
Go further with EyeStage By installing the EyeStage software (free, available for download on the Ipevo site), you can access more image framing options such as vignetting (each person is isolated in a separate image) or face tracking.
