To help ensure the safety of your children and prevent the risk of ingestion, Duracell has developed Baby Secure technology, a bitter-tasting layer applied to the back of the batteries, and designed Baby Secure packaging, tamper-proof packaging with double plastic so that it is impossible for a child to open them without scissors.
The batteries are designed for use in key fobs, small remotes, scales, sensors, medical devices (glucometers, digital thermometers), and sports devices (heart rate monitors, bike accessories).
